Does Chick-fil-A's new Superfood side live up to the hype? I tried it today, and the answer is a resounding OH HECK YES.

The Superfood side is made with chopped kale and broccolini topped with dried cherries and roasted nuts, all tossed in a tangy maple vinaigrette. I wanted to try it, but I was lowkey worried that the kale and broccolini would taste... you know... not good. Raw kale isn't exactly my jam, but people let me tell you: this Superfood side is DELICIOUS.

And it's only 80 calories! I can grab an 8 count grilled nuggets and a Superfood side for lunch and clock in at like 230 calories. That's amazing.

I love (LOVE) Chick-fil-A because a) the food is always perfect and tasty and b) they really care about the food they serve. They made the tough decision to remove coleslaw from the menu because they wanted to provide their customers with healthier options. The new Superfood side is not only low in calories--it's good for you. One serving has 45% of your daily value of Vitamin A and an astounding 80% of your daily Vitamin C. IN ONE LITTLE DELICIOUS SERVING!

You can eat the Superfood side and feel good about the choice you made. Chick-fil-A may be fast food--but they really try to give us healthy options. I think that is cool.

Now excuse me, I have to go buy ten more of these Superfood sides because they are THAT GOOD.
