OXFORD, Miss. -- If you asked Ole Miss fans, it was the best atmosphere they had ever seen on gameday, even before the opening kickoff.

And if you asked Alabama coach Nick Saban, the 61,826 fans in attendance -- the fourth-largest in Vaught-Hemingway Stadium history -- did play a role in the game at some level in the Rebels' 23-17 upset over Alabama on Saturday.

"This was our first game on the road and it affected us," Alabama coach Nick Saban said. "We did not play as well as what we had been playing and we didn't continue to improve."

When the game swung in Ole Miss' favor in the dying minutes of the fourth quarter, Rebels fans were going to make sure they celebrated it.
