TV Stars Come to TPL for YomuCon 2015!

If you thought the Tuscaloosa Public Library was all about periodicals, books, books, and more books, think again! This weekend, television stars will be waiting to meet library patrons in YomuCon 2015.

The Tuscaloosa Public Library will give attendees the opportunity to play video games, courtesy of Crimson Castle, and to visit with local artists and vendors as well as meet actor Don Teems from AMC's "The Walking Dead" and Sonny Strait, voice actor from the "Dragonball" series.

The event will run Saturday, November 14, 2015 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and there is free admission. So, if you're looking for a way to get your anime-addicted preteen interested in the outside world, this just might be the ticket! And if you happen to be a fan of comics and cartoons, how they're produced, and the voices behind them, be sure to make your way to the Tuscaloosa Public Library (main branch) this Saturday.
