Tuscaloosa’s Insane Inflatable 5K Is Fun Waiting to Happen [PHOTOS]
People who have been say it's the most fun they've had in a long time! Together, we're about to experience it for the first time this Saturday, the Insane Inflatable 5K sponsored by McDonald's!
Final preparations are underway to prepare the race course, as runners will soon converge on Griffin Farms Pumpkin Patch in West Blocton. Throughout the morning waves of challengers will take on crazy inflatable obstacles along a 3 mile course. Instant memories will be made as we jump, bounce and laugh!
It's almost time. Early packet pickup for pre-registered runners will happen Friday (4/24) at Academy Sports + Outdoors on Skyland Boulevard in T-Town, between 3pm and 7pm. Gates at the Insane Inflatable 5K open at 8am on Saturday (4/24). Tuscaloosa Chevrolet will pay for parking for anyone driving a Chevy or with a military ID. otherwise parking is $10 cash (sorry no checks, credit or debit cards accepted for parking). There is also a free Midway sponsored by Southeastern Consignment Furniture. This event also helps out a great local cause with a portion of the proceeds headed to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Alabama.
I've been looking through photos from previous events, and one thing I keep noticing, the GIANT SMILES! Everyone looks like they having a blast! See what I'm talking about in the photo gallery below!
