The postal carriers of Tuscaloosa, Northport and all around West Alabama will be collecting non-perishable food items left by the mailbox on Saturday, May 14 for the Stamp Out Hunger campaign!

The food drive that's held on the second Saturday of May all across the country is gearing up for the 24th annual collection this week   Just how much will be raised.  Well, just last year 71 million pounds!

Together we can make a difference to help stock the shelves of food banks, if we all chip in by leaving a sack of food.

Suggested items include canned meats, fish, soup, juice, vegetables.  Also, pasta, cereal, peanut butter and rice.  Please do not include items that have expired or are in glass containers.

Do you have any questions?  You should take a look at the Stamp Out Hunger Facebook page, they've posted a pretty extensive Q&A list. It should answer just about any question. Here's the link: CLICK HERE.
