Therapeutic Riding of Tuscaloosa (TROT), based at Serenity Farms in Cottondale is accepting enrollment for a summer camp they're holding in June.

TROT is a nonprofit organization supplying therapeutic riding and horse assisted therapies to individuals in the West Alabama area.

Summer Camp students will learn to work together with other campers to build skills in horsemanship, riding, crafts, and  having fun. This camp is ideal for both typical and non-neurotypical kids from the age of 8 to 14. Age and skill appropriate activities will be available.

Camp will run from 9 am to 2 pm Monday-Friday, June 8th-12th, with a special horse show on Saturday, June 13th for campers to show family and friends what they have learned. Arrangements can be made for extended day at additional cost.  Camp cost is $200 for the six day experience. Snacks, lunch, drinks and all equipment are provided. Campers should wear long pants, comfortable shirt and boots.
