Tim Tebow Hired by ESPN for SEC Network

Tim Tebow has finally found a new home but he won't be returning to the football field, at least for now. The former Florida quarterback has been hired by ESPN as an analyst for the SEC Network.

Tebow, who was the face of the SEC as it rose to dominance and began a run of 7-straight BCS championships, has been a polarizing figure during his time in the NFL. According to a statement by the former Heisman winner, this news doesn't mean the end of his playing career.

"I am so excited that ESPN has given me this incredible opportunity," Tebow said in a statement. "When I was six years old, I fell in love with the game of football, and while I continue to pursue my dream of playing quarterback in the NFL, this is an amazing opportunity to be part of the unparalleled passion of college football and the SEC."

Tebow will debut on ESPN during the pregame coverage of the Vizio BCS National Championship Game between Auburn and Florida State.
