Tuscaloosa Police are searching for the suspect in the theft of a set of wrenches and a socket set from the Advance Auto Parts on Tuscaloosa's West End last week.  The suspect left the store in a late 1990's silver Dodge Pickup with a license plate that has been reported stolen from another vehicle. Anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers.

Alabama state troopers are already gearing up for the 126th Annual Footwash Festival in West Alabama next weekend. The four-day festival draws thousands to the Uniontown area each year.

Governor and First Lady Bentley have joined a growing number of Alabama politicians calling for U.S. District Judge Mark Fuller to resign, amid battery charges he faces. Fuller is accused of hitting his wife during a fight at an Atlanta hotel.

After days of searching, the body of 8-year-old Hiawayi Robinson was found by investigators in Prichard. A cause of death has not been released, but the child's killer is being sought.

Yesterday, 28-year-old Sarah Lorraine Spirit and her 6 children were killed by her father 51-year-old Don Spirit just before he took his own life outside Gainesville, Florida. The suspect was a convicted felon who already had a lengthy criminal record, including a charge of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon after he pleaded guilty to accidentally shooting and killing his 8-year-old son while they were out hunting in 2003.
