Take Your Hands Off !!!!

Recently I read Psalm 46: 10, andI found it rather interesting that God stated, "Be still, and know that I am God." The meaning of the word "still" is to "cease striving", or, literally, "to place our hands at our side." When I analyzed this statement it appeared to be risky, since our first inclination when in trouble is to keep our hands on the situation and try to control it to our advantage. God is really saying, "Take Your Hands Off! Allow Me to deal with your situation, and rest assured that the final outcome will be in My hands."
