Ariel Castro, the Cleveland man who abducted and imprisoned three women in his home for a decade, agreed to a plea deal on Friday that will ensure that he does not face the death penalty. He will be in jail, without chance for parole, for the rest of his life.

Ariel Castro is pleading not guilty to multiple charges for the kidnapping and raping of three women in Cleveland. In the meantime, his alleged victims, Amanda Berry, Gina DeJesus, and Michelle Knight are taking to YouTube to thank the public for its support and respect for their privacy.

The Cleveland man accused of the horrifying abduction and rape of three women over the last 10-plus years, Ariel Castro, was arraigned in court on Thursday morning. He is being held on $8 million bail—$2 million for each of the three women he kidnapped and for the young girl one of the women gave birth to while in captivity.
