With the beginning of the school year being upon us, not only is it important for our children to start on a good foot, but it's equally as important for parents to be knowledgeable enough in certain topics to be helpful to their children. The late Harriett Ball made this a bit easier.Let's face it: once we pass particular tests and finish school, a lot of what we've learned is soon forgotten if not used. Because the U.S. customary system of measurement is most often used in the U.S., we often don't remember the metric system.  With this song and video, not only can parents brush up on their knowledge but it's also a catchy way for students to learn.

(By the way, because my grandmother's maiden name is Ball and my Uncle Jr. lived in Texas, I am SO claiming Ms. Harriett as a relative.)
