Schedule for the Women’s College World Series
Tonight, the Alabama softball team (50-11) begins its journey at the Women's College World Series with a match-up against the Oklahoma Sooners!
Airtime on 95.3 The Bear and online is set for 8:20 tonight with first pitch being at 8:30. This will be Bama's ninth appearance in the Women’s College World Series. Alabama and Oklahoma have met nine times in program history, with the Tide holding a 6-3 edge in the all-time series.
The schedule gets a bit complicated but here goes.
NCAA SOFTBALL WOMEN’S COLLEGE WORLD SERIES
Tonight, 8:20pm - Bama vs. Oklahoma
- If Bama wins tonight, they play on Friday with an 8:20pm air time.
- If Bama wins on Friday, they play on Sunday with a 2:20 air time
- If Bama wins on Sunday, they move into the championship series on Monday
- If Bama loses on Sunday, they play again on Sunday night with an 8:20pm air time.
- If Bama loses on Thursday, they move into the loser’s bracket…playing Saturday with a 1:20pm air time.
- If Bama wins on Saturday, they play again on Saturday night with an 8:20pm air time.
- If Bama wins both games on Saturday, they play on Sunday with a 2:20 air time (see above).
- If Bama is in the championship series, it’s a best of 3 series… with air times on Monday and Tuesday at 6:50pm.
- If a third game is necessary, the air time Wednesday would be 6:50pm.
