Rev. T.W. Linton
This man Rev. T.W. Linton was a strong man in the Civil Rights struggles. Rev. Linton did most of his work undercover.
He used his barbershop on 27th Ave., now T.Y. Rogers Ave., as a secret meeting place for strategy. When the marchers went to jail, Rev. Linton got them out. Because of Rev. Linton many blacks got hired at stores that wouldn't hire blacks.
