Raising Dion (Black Kid with Super Powers) Headed to Netflix

If you’ve never really been into comic books and super heroes, get ready for that to change! Raising Dion is on the way!

What exactly is Raising Dion? It began as a comic book about a Black single mother, raising a son who she discovers has super powers.  Check it out:

Most of us grew up watching Batman and Robin, Superman, Wonder Woman, and more.  Other than shows like Punky Brewster and movies like Carrie, we haven’t really seen a child with real deal super powers on the big screen… Especially not a black kid!

This is definitely going to be a popular movie. Gratefully, we don’t have to rush to the theaters as soon as tickets are released.  This one will be on Netflix!
