Last night, I watched the news in awe as the tornadoes crossed Mississippi and Alabama.  It was particularly striking for me because the area in Aliceville that was hit is the community where my family lives, close to where we lived when we first moved to Alabama.

So, this morning, I called the man who I KNEW could give me the real deal concerning the damage in the area, my Uncle Jeff (Pastor/Apostle Jeffery Ball).

With all of the damage sustained and devastation faced, there were no fatalities! (Praise be to God) But the community will have a long road ahead in terms of recovery.  The items requested at this time include water, food (both canned goods as well as snack foods), clothing, toiletries, etc.  Again, some residents are starting over while others' roofs were taken, leaving the contents of their homes open to the rain.
