Preparing for Adversity

Adversity is often the common thread that runs through the lives of the men and women mentioned in the Bible. Abraham, Moses, Joseph, Esther, David, the prophets, the disciples, and every other major biblical character wrestled with problems. Adversity is apart of life. The consequences of sin are all around us. Although we can never be fully prepared for all the possibilities, we can take positive steps to fortify our faith to withstand the tough times.
