Potential Tropical Cyclone #3 is making its way towards the Gulf Coast, and as it makes landfall, heavy rains will spread throughout the area.

The National Weather Service currently projects T.C. #3 to make landfall along the Louisiana Coast early Thursday morning. Take a look at the map below for a quick look at the latest projected path.

Although T.C. #3 is expected to make landfall in Louisiana, the storm will impact much of the Gulf Coast. There is a near 100% chance of rain over the next three days, and much of the coast could see between 5 to 12 inches of rain.

Heavy rain is expected across the state as well. Take a look at the graphics below from the National Storm Prediction Center.
