Only Time Will Tell . . . .

On last night the Tuscaloosa City Board of Education passed what has become the somewhat questionable recommendations of its Superintendent. For months these recommendations have drawn much fire as it relates to how they will affect the future of all children within this school district.

The vote was overwhelming and there seemed to be an atmosphere of relief that the recommendations were finally passed. However, I certainly hope that down the road these very recommendations don't prove to be in error. The Plan is certainly not without its problems.

Buildings in themselves do not lead to effective instruction. We must remember that on the way to success with student achievement, the Teacher makes the difference.
