A Thomasville, Alabama preacher is accused of sexual torture, abuse of multiple children. The preacher was first arrested on October 3, 2013 on multiple counts of rape, sexual abuse, attempted rape, sodomy and sexual torture, according to court records. This preacher is being held by Clarke County authorities on $500,000 bond.

Warrants filed by Thomasville authorities at the time of arrest reflected charges involving multiple minors in the late 80's and 90's. The Clarke County District Attorney says he is aware of some nine victims.

One warrant charges that one female victim was sexually tortured in September 1988 when this preacher allegedly violated this young female with pens, letter openers, a figurine and even a flashlight.

In January 1990, this same preacher allegedly raped another female, then 13. In March of the same year, yet another rape of a 13 year old female.

Some of the victims compared the atmosphere to a cult. The church frowned upon  females wearing make-up or pants and mandated the females to wear floor length dresses.

If this preacher is convicted of all of these charges, he faces life in prison. Do you think that this is the correct punishment for a man who clearly took advantage of those who held him in high esteem? WHAT DO YOU THINK?
