Just over four years after the April 2011 tornado destroyed its only location in Tuscaloosa, Milo's Hamburgers has reopened its doors to the city.

The popular Alabama burger chain held a ribbon-cutting ceremony and a soft launch on Tuesday at its new location at the corner of Skyland Boulevard and Hwy 69. The doors will officially open to the public beginning on Wednesday morning at 6 AM.

Milo's has 16 locations around Central and West Alabama but only three of those are currently serving breakfast and one is Tuscaloosa. Along with your standard sausage and chicken biscuits, Milo's will also serve a Conecuh sausage biscuit that you won't find on many menus.

Some of the other features of the newest location is a sauce bar for access to all of your favorite Milo's flavors, a crushed ice machine, tea machines, packets of Milo's seasoned salt, and an express lane for milkshakes and ice cream orders.
