Tuscaloosa County Sheriff's deputies are looking for a suspect in an early morning home invasion in the 2600 block of Clements Road in Cottondale. ABC 33/40 describes the suspect as a white male wearing camouflage who is approximately 20 years old. No other details were released.

ABC 33/40 spoke with Dana Lopez who saw the victim come out of his home. Lopez said he had duct tape around his neck, cable ties around his wrists and rope around his ankles. Another neighbor said he heard a female victim screaming when the male victim emerged from the house 'basically naked...covered in blood with a bag around his neck.'

The victims were able to break free of their restraints before the woman was raped, Hood said, and they fought the suspect until he fled on foot and ran into the woods near their home. Both victims were hurt during the struggle, but Hood said neither received life-threatening injuries.

UPDATE: Sheriff's deputies apprehended the suspect after a high-speed chase. He was taken into custody along with two people who were also in the vehicle with the suspect.
