Lanier Automotive Swamped for Holiday Food Giveaway

This morning,  Lanier Automotive was the location for a 100-turkey giveaway; and Tuscaloosa turned OUT!

So, with the lot being a manageable size, Lanier Automotive had to be creative to come up with a systematic way of controlling the influx of visitors.  They had the bright idea for a drive-thru.

Tuscaloosa Police came by to see what was going on, and when the officer saw how well organized everything flowed and how Lanier was giving to the community, TPD began to assist with traffic flow.

In addition to the turkeys provided by the Steve Harvey Morning Show, Lanier gave away bunches of greens, hams, and fruit.  If that wasn't enough, A & A Barbecue was on location, grilling hot dogs, hamburgers, and even bologna for visitors to the lot.
