Inmate Near Birmingham Escapes

The Alabama Department of Corrections is searching for 42-year-old Danny Gene Fair, who was reported missing from the Alabama Therapeutic Education Facility around 1:00 this morning.

According to AL.com, Fair has a long history of property crimes and was serving a 33-year sentence for a second-degree theft of property conviction.

Anyone with information of his whereabouts is asked to call their local police or the Alabama Department of Corrections at 1-800- 831-8825.
