My childhood friend Jon goes crabbing in the Puget Sound South of Seattle a couple of times a month. Well, lately he's been having trouble catching any crabs at all.

The food was disappearing and no crabs were coming up in the pot. So, he did what anyone with a GoPro camera would do, he attached it to the basket to find out how the crabs were getting out and it turns out they were just small crabs.

In Seattle, you're not allowed to keep any Dungeness crabs smaller than 6.25" wide and the traps you use are required to have holes and a large mesh size for small crabs to get out.

In his effort to find out what was going on, he gives us a really intriguing look into the life of these crabs. Check out what happens when the basket gets dropped into the water.
