For the past few days, IHOP's Twitter account has been quite the comedic relief!

Most followers took note that IHOP just MIGHT be throwing shade once McDonald's announced it would be serving all-day breakfast.

From that point, the operator(s) of IHOP's Twitter account has made the restaurant seem a lot more personable with potential customers, from making references to popular rap songs to using quite a bit of slang.

With communication like this, it appears that the company actually cares about what its "patrons" (i.e. Twitter followers) have to say. Not sure about anyone else, but I now want to be friends with IHOP.  Surely the restaurant can't come to visit me, but my visiting IHOP definitely shouldn't be a problem.
