More winter weather threats to start the week around Tuscaloosa and West Alabama. We're under a Winter Weather Advisory tonight. Also active is a Winter Storm Watch for Wednesday, where we could possibly see significant snow accumulation.

Let's begin this update on the immediate concern with the map below showing the timing tonight for possible winter weather.

NWS

In the next map is what we could see for frozen precipitation accumulation overnight. The good news, any ice should melt during the day tomorrow.

NWS

Look out for what could happen Wednesday, a significant winter storm with accumulating snow. Areas around Tuscaloosa and West Alabama could see up to 4 inches of snow. This would make roads extremely slick and hazardous for travel.
