Helen Keller Festival Set For June 22-28

The 37th annual Helen Keller Festival is scheduled to kick off on June 22 and continuing through June 28th.

The festival will kick off with tours available of Keller's home, Ivy Green, and the resting place of Keller family members, the historic Glencoe cemetery. Arts, crafts, classic cars and even a water show is on the agenda but a complete list of festival events can be found here.

Headlining the event is Phil Vasser who is scheduled to perform on June 27th at 8:30 pm and Keller Johnson, the great-great-grandniece of Helen Keller, will be the grand marshal of the parade.

The Helen Keller Festival was recently named one of Alabama's Must-Do summer events.
