A robbery and shooting at the Chevron gas station in Moundville has led to a lockdown at Hale County Middle, Hale County High School and Moundville Elementary.

Officials say a robbery suspect fired at Moundville Police on Wednesday morning and authorities are searching for someone they describe as a black male in his 20s wearing all black clothing.

The officer who was shot at didn't not suffer any injuries according to this report.

The suspect was last seen at County Line Road and Highway 69 south. If you have any information, please contact your local police.
