Gospel Nugget for today . . . .

God's purpose in saving each of us is not simply to keep us from going to hell, but to conform us to the image of His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. The minute we accept Him as our Savior, the process begins. From that point until our graduation to Glory, we need to recognize that God uses all of life's circumstances to accomplish the one goal of making us Christlike. This is especially true of those dark periods of testing and trial. The conversation of a soul is the miracle of a moment; the growth of a saint is the work of a lifetime.
