When you are falsely accused, you plead to God for vindidcation. You want your name cleared and the guilty person held accountable for the harm done to your reputation. But then you get impatient with God and try to vindicate yourself. You may as well be praying to yourself. Vindication does not come from self-defensive arguments; it stems from integrity. It requires patient waiting. When you call on God, He will help you, but in His perfect time and in His perfect way. The purpose of prayer is not to get what we want, but to become what God wants.
