Gospel Nugget for today . . . .

Let's look at some seemingly small incidents in which people disregard the Bible's clear instruction. A man makes a cutting remark to his wife. A boy looks at a pornographic magazine. A Christian girl goes out with an unsaved man and takes just one drink with him. Small matters? Doesn't everyone get angry? Isn't boyish curiousity natural? What harm can come from one date and one drink with a decent appeearing man or woman? But a cutting remark can leave a permanent scar. A look at indecent pictures can lead a boy to do something he'll always aregret. A seemingly harmless date and a single drink can be the first step toward alcoholism, an illicit affair, or a bad marriage. No sin is harmless. Small matters of disobience can bring on big, bad consequences.
