Figure This Out . . . .

A Philadelphia mother was charged on yesterday with locking her four children in the basement of their home for over 13 hours without food, water, or restroom as punishment.

The children reportedly told the police that they had been told by their mother at midnight to "carry their mattresses down into the basement and remain there." While there, the children did not have access to food, water, a restroom or heat.

In my opinion, no child should be subjected to such inhuman treatment, especially by its parent. Sometimes I wonder what goes through the minds of those who are supposed to love and properly care for their children.
