If you or any woman you know has ever struggled with infertility, this could be good news for you. Apparently, doctors have performed the first ever uterus transplant in the U.S.

Of course this didn't come without controversy. A person can abuse his or her body as much as they want until organs malfunction and receive transplants. But when it comes to having a uterus transplant, to give a woman the opportunity to carry a baby, people have negative remarks? That's beyond stupid.

I hope every woman who wants a child and is able to provide all that a child needs has the opportunity to become a mother, whether she carries the child within her own body or not, but it's nice to know that they might soon be able to experience the joys as well as discomforts of pregnancy.
