Do You Really Want the Children That You Have?
It is amazing to me how many people desire to have children to love and care for. There are some individuals who go to great expense in order to hopefully have a child. It is also very interesting to me of how some parents after conceiving a child really act as if the child is not wanted. These individuals depend upon their parents or grandparents to provide food, shelter and total security for their child. In the worse case situation, these children are left to care for themselves, or the Streets care for them.
Recently, I read articles of parents who abandoned their children in public places such as McDonalds, the Mall, etc.. When a few of these parents were apprehended by authorities, they indicated that they could no longer provide for the care of their children. This is a pretty sad commentary!
In my opinion, if you cannot adequately provide for the care of a child, you should not entertain the thought of having one. There is more to having a child than just having them. Once a child enters the lives of two individuals, the lives of these adults changes. No longer can you simply think of yourselves, but for the child also. Think About It. . . .
