4th Avenue East has been closed since Aug. 27, at the request of homeowners in the area. On Tuesday, Sept. 29, a meeting will be held in the Daugherty Room from 5:00 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. in City Hall to discuss the closing.

The goal of the meeting is to provide an opportunity for citizens to express ideas and concerns to the Office of the City Engineer and the Tuscaloosa Department of Transportation. Information gained will serve as part of the evaluation of the road closure.  Comments may also be submitted by calling Tuscaloosa 311 or 205-248-5311, or may be emailed to tuscaloosa311@tuscaloosa.com.
