Broadcasting . . . .

After many years as a Broadcaster in and around the West Alabama area I have witnessed many changes as well as innovations. The industry has evolved from playing music from Vinyl records, Cassettes, CD disks and now from Computer. Quite an impressive leap in the way the service is presented, wouldn't you say? One of the most interesting innovations to me is the use of the computer as a tool for delivery of the broadcast product. Entire programs can be supplied to the listener along with the voice of their favorite personality and all types of informative commercial messages with a life-like sound. I began my journey in broadcasting when I was thirteen (13) years old. It's hard to imagine what advancements will occur in this industry in the next fifty-two years.
