Three officers have been shot Sunday morning around 9 a.m. near their Baton Rouge, Louisiana headquarters, according to a report from WBRZ-TV.

Authorities have closed off an area from the police headquarters to Interstate 12, as a massive manhunt for the suspects is underway.

The WBRZ-TV was told by a witness, "a man was dressed in black with his face covered shooting indiscriminately when he walked out between a convenience store and car wash across from Hammond Air Plaza. Shots were fired around 9 a.m. Sunday."

CNN reports a total of 6 officers have been shot, 3 of them are dead, 3 are hospitalized and in critical condition. One suspect is dead.
