I have been in radio since I was 17 and in high school. It has become a part of me at this point and I hope to always have it in my life in some way. I was born in Maryland, raised in Virginia and Mississippi, spent a wild year in Louisiana after high school and have since decided Alabama is the place I want to be. I enjoying spending time with my son and family, getting together with friends to watch Alabama football and I never miss a Washington Redskins game. I thoroughly enjoy group runs and have competed in 8 half marathons. Fundraising is close to my heart especially when it comes to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Over the years, I have taken part and helped to raise over $200,000 for the hospital. Recently I’ve become known as the “craft beer guy” around the station and even have the honor of having a beer named after me, the ‘Monk on the Radio’ Belgian Blonde from Band of Brothers Brewing Company.
