An Alabama Car Dealership Is Shut Down For Defrauding Customers

I’m sure you have heard the old saying that some used car dealers are crooks!  Well here we go!

A court order has been obtained by the Alabama Attorney General’s Office to stop Quality Used Cars in Elmore County from operating based on evidence of defrauding customers.

Attorney General Luther Strange was granted a temporary restraining order to seize the property of Quality Used Cars and its associate Preowned Automotive located at 6155 Elmore Road in Elmore.

Quality is accused of 18 counts of violating the Alabama Deceptive Trade Practices Act and a Department of Revenue Violation.  Read more here.
