One quarter of the way through the 2018 regular season and there hasn't been much of a challenge put in front of the defending national champions. Alabama has cruised through its first three games by a scoring margin of 170-28, and that was supposed to be against three strong offenses.

Now the biggest test of the early season comes to town in the form of Texas A&M under new head coach Jimbo Fisher. The Aggies nearly pulled off the upset over Clemson in week two and now they'll try to finish the job against the nation's top-ranked team.

Here's everything you need to know about this week four matchup.

No. 1 Alabama (3-0, 1-0 SEC) vs Texas A&M (2-1, 0-0 SEC)

When: Saturday, Sept. 22 at 2:30 PM/CT

Where: Bryant-Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa, AL

Weather: Don't expect any relief from a late September kickoff. Saturday's high of 92 degrees will hit right around the start of the game. The heat index will be over 100 degrees so stay hydrated.

TV: CBS (Play-by-play: Brad Nessler, analyst: Gary Danielson, sideline reporter: Jamie Erdahl)

Radio: Crimson Tide Sports Network (Play-by-play: Eli Gold, color analyst: John Parker Wilson, sideline reporter: Rashad Johnson). Listen on 95.3 the Bear and Tide 102.9/100.9 in Tuscaloosa or download the station apps to stream the game for free.

Spread: The Crimson Tide opened as a 23.5-point favorite but that quickly moved as high as 27 points. Alabama is 3-0 against the spread and has covered by nearly 20 points per game.

Series History: While there's a lot of history between these two schools, they haven't played that much on the field. Saturday's game will be the 11th meeting between Alabama and Texas A&M and the Crimson Tide has won eight of the first 10. Nick Saban's team is currently riding a 5-game winning streak since Johnny Manziel upset the Tide in Bryant-Denny Stadium in 2012.

Last Meeting: Both teams played pretty evenly a year ago in College Station but Alabama pulled out the 27-19 win. The Tide led by three touchdowns early in the third quarter but a Kellen Mond touchdown pass and a safety cut the lead to 12. Texas A&M would add a late touchdown to make it a one-possession game but couldn't convert the onside kick. Jalen Hurts threw for 123 yards and a touchdown while Damien Harris rushed for 124 yards and one score to lead Alabama.

Last Week: Alabama allowed a long touchdown pass on the first play of the game to Ole Miss but then proceeded to score the next 62 points in the game. To get a sense of how lopsided this game was, just consider that Alabama had 49 points and more than 400 yards of offense at halftime. Tua Tagovailoa and Hurts combined for four touchdown passes while Jerry Jeudy had two touchdown catches on 136 yards receiving.

Some people expected a letdown game for the Aggies against Louisiana-Monroe last week because the game was sandwiched between Clemson and Alabama on the schedule, but Texas A&M took care of business. Quarterback Kellen Mond accounted for three touchdowns while running back Trayveon Williams rushed for 128 yards in a 48-10 victory.
