Series History: These two programs will meet for the 82nd meeting on Saturday with the Crimson Tide leading the series with a 51-25-5 all-time record. LSU’s last victory was the 9-6 ‘Game of the Century’ in Tuscaloosa.

Last Meeting: Like many of the recent games in this series, last year’s meeting came down to the fourth quarter. Both offenses were held scoreless until the fourth quarter when Alabama freshman quarterback Jalen Hurts finished off a 90-yard touchdown drive by breaking free for a 21-yard touchdown run. Hurts would finish the night with 107 passing yards and 114 rushing yards. The Crimson Tide defense was the story in Baton Rouge as it limited running back Leonard Fournette to just 35 yards and quarterback Danny Etling to 92 yards passing. Alabama hung onto a 10-0 road win and moved to 9-0.

Last Week: Both teams were on a bye week to end October. Prior to that, Alabama dominated Tennessee, 45-7, for the program’s 11th straight win over the Vols while LSU rushed for nearly 400 yards in a 42-24 win over Ole Miss.
