The College Football Playoff selection committee released its newest set of rankings and Alabama jumped to No. 2 following a statement win over previously-No. 2 LSU.

The Crimson Tide, ranked 4th in the initial rankings a week ago, pulled away from the Tigers to win 30-16 behind Derrick Henry's 210 yards rushing. The junior single-handedly outgained LSU's 184 yards of total offense.

After a pretty big shakeup in week 10, the current top six is:

  1. Clemson
  2. Alabama
  3. Ohio State
  4. Notre Dame

The first two teams out of the playoff were Iowa and Baylor.

Alabama will play its last ranked opponent of the regular season on Saturday when it travels to No. 17 Mississippi State.
