The American Association of State Troopers launched its 2nd annual "Best Looking Cruiser Contest" and Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) needs your vote!

The contest, which features the Alabama State Troopers' 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe, began as a friendly competition between state agencies to promote community support and positive interaction with law enforcement.

Last year's contest generated almost 100,000 votes, 15,000 shares and 12,000 comments. Ohio State Highway Patrol came in first place, and Alabama State Troopers came in fourth. This year, we have to do our part to make sure Alabama comes out on top!

Voting will again be conducted on the American Association of State Troopers' Facebook page and will run through 4 p.m. Aug. 31. To participate, visit the Facebook page and click on the album titled "2015 Best Looking Cruiser Contest." Simply find ALEA's Tahoe and click the like button under your selection to ensure the vote is counted. Feel free to share the page as well!

The winner will receive the Best Looking Cruiser Award and will be featured on the cover of the national association's 2016 wall calendar.
