As a part of the "new normal" the University of Alabama is requiring everyone who is planning to go to games in Bryant-Denny Stadium this year to submit themselves to health screening prior to entering the stadium.

The university is partnering with an APP GuideSafe to ensure all those who go to games in Bryant-Denny are clear of any COVID-19 symptoms.

Fans will be directed to a single Healthcheck game day web link for their game day passport, the passport will be available up to 48 hours prior to game time.

The passport will ask fans for an email address, cell phone number, temperature, a list of symptoms and whether they have been exposed to anyone with symptoms. The passport will then determine based on risk stratification if the user is clear to attend the game.

The link may also be emailed or texted and function similar to a boarding pass that can be shown and used at a gate.

For those who do not complete the GuideSafe Event Passport, Alabama will have two customer service tents at the North and South ends of the stadium where spectators can complete a questionnaire prior to entry.

Spectators will show their GuideSafe Event Passport prior to passing through metal detectors, spectators with a red screen will be denied entry into Bryant-Denny Stadium.

GuideSafe Healthcheck is a HIPPA compliant platform and does not track you as a person nor track your specific location.
