Alabama Power Issues Scam Alert

Alabama Power has issued a warning to be aware that someone posing as a representative of the company is calling customers threatening to discontinue service unless the bill is paid immediately.

Customers are urged to get a re-loadable debit card and call a 800 number back with the number.

Alabama Power says they will never come to customers door to demand payment nor will they call and request bank account information. If you have any questions, call 1-800-245-2244.
